Top 100 tier firm now seeks an experienced Construction Solicitor in central London.
The Role
The successful Construction Solicitor will have a minimum of five years PQE and previous experience in a city or high calibre firm handling contentious and non-contentious construction work.
Undertaking commercial and residential development work, your caseload will include:
• Construction insolvency
• Bond claims
• Drafting various contracts, licenses and documents
• Professional indemnity, appointments and collateral warranties
• Reviewing insurance certificates
• Negotiations and settlements
• Advising on risk management and dispute avoidance
• Advising retail chains and private developers
• Redevelopments and leasebacks
• Advising sub-contractors and investors
The Candidate
• A Solicitor with experience in a high calibre Construction department;
• Ideally, five years PQE;
• Handle a diverse caseload to meet key deadlines;
• Excellent drafting and negotiating skills;
• Acting for high-net-worth clients;
• Undertake business development, networking and marketing initiatives;
• Commercially aware and good attention to detail.
