A brand new vacancy has just become available for a suitably qualified solicitor with GDPR experience to join a household name in the FMCG sector to be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh for a 12 month FTC.
The successful candidate will report into the Employment counsel and will partner with HR to take on GDPR compliance and Data Protection on a global level. This fast moving consumer goods company takes data privacy seriously and you will be at the forefront of the development of a data protection training programme aimed at HR, legal and line managers.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for coordinating & issuing the responses to data protection subject access request and deletion requests as well as the implementation of an audit programme for the GDPR compliance initiatives. This is the ideal role for a GDPR expert to gain valuable insight into the in-house legal world. You'll need to be a commercially savvy lawyer able to partner with business (not other lawyers) to help promote and drive initiatives.
