Financial Regulation Professional Support Lawyer

A great opportunity to work with a small and technically excellent financial services team to provide thought leadership and proactive professional support. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4pqe as a fee earner within a recognised financial services practice at a top tier firm. Previous PSL experience is desirable.

THE TEAM

Our client has a small and technically excellent team covering a wide range of financial services. A professional support lawyer will be fully integrated on a day to basis as well as being part of the firm wide PSL team.

THE ROLE

Duties will include managing and disseminating know-how, leading the current awareness programme for both internal and external clients, assisting fee earners with technical queries, updating standard forms and precedents and designing and delivery training.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You will need a ood working knowledge of the Companies Act 2006, FMSA, FPO and the FCA handbooks as well as a good working knowledge of the core EU Directives such as MIFID, BCD, IMD and AIFM.

You should be able to demonstrate the combination of excellent interpersonal skills and strong analytical and technical skills, so as to gain the confidence of partners and other senior fee earners quickly.
