Finance Business Partner - Digital

A leading media organisation is looking for a Finance Business Partner to take responsibility for the development, management and coordination of its business units through a period of transformation.

This role support Heads of and Directors to produce robust plans, budget and quarterly forecasts for their business areas, including executive summary reporting, implementing best practise and enabling smarter ways of working.

To successfully deliver in this project role, you will need to have:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or part-qualified
• Demonstrable experience in providing accurate financial information for the Business unit and feed into the Corporate reporting commentary
• Experience working with Strategy to understand market trends and developments to support strategy development via the 5-year plan
• Influence key decision makers, and drive key projects, using insight and analysis to make financial based recommendations.
• Experience in proactively ensuring financial controls are implemented across the business unit (Incl Tax)
• Share best practices between Business Units and encourage cross functional working

• Providing business support to the transformation programme.
• Prepare and update the business cases for each of the constituent projects within the Programme.
• Support process improvement projects within team to add greater value to analytical, planning and reporting processes.
• Helping to enable better decision making through insightful and action-oriented management information and trend analysis
• Excellent leadership and influencing skills to facilitate better decision making
