Associate / Partner - Commercial & Corporate - London

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this top 100 UK law firm in London. The firms' clients come from the health, social care, life sciences, social enterprise and charity sectors. The role will involve advising clients on corporate, commercial and public law matters including:

• Commercial contracts
• M&A
• Setting up new businesses
• Contracting with consumers
• IT contracts and projects
• Constitutional and governance advice
• Joint ventures, collaborations and partnering arrangements
• Outsourcing projects and other transactions

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading law firm in health and social enterprise sectors.

Examples of the firms work in include:

• NHS mergers and acquisitions
• NHS reconfigurations
• Joint ventures intra NHS and between NHS and private sector partners
• Establishing new technology providers to establish products in the health market
• Advising on the development of new care models of the NHS
• Helping GPs to expand primary care provision by setting up GP federations and super-practices
• Supporting companies developing novel cell therapies and gene therapies
• Helping charities and social enterprises to initiate new organisational structures and ways of working

For the Senior Associate position candidates will need to have 5+ years PQE and for the partner position 8+ years PQE. The ideal candidate will have specialist experience in the health market or the wider public sector. Candidates will need to demonstrate strong business development skills.
