Grafton Banks Finance is delighted to be working with a well established firm of Chartered Accountants to recruit a qualified and experienced Practice Accountant to join their team as a Senior Manager in their Brighton and Hove office. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an ambitious and energetic candidate to work alongside the existing Partners, and offers the potential for partnership in the medium term ,
The role will involve involvement on all aspects of running a busy general practice office - working closely with a broad range of clients: overseeing a team of qualified and part qualified accounts to carry out a range of audit, accounts and tax compliance and advisory work. You will quickly be given the opportunity to work autonomously and have lots of client contact and be heavily involved in marketing and business development.
The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent and already have extensive hands on experience at a mangement level in a general practice firm. You will be able to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients as well as working closely with the other partners on the strategic long term growth of the business. This is a great opportunity if you are currently working in practice but finding the opportunity to progress to equity partner is not forthcoming in your current firm.
