A public body in Oxfordshire is seeking a part time employment lawyer to support their wide ranging requirements. The role is for a minimum period of 6 months although has the possibility to be made permanent or extended far beyond this time frame.

The role itself consists of:

- Employment law for employees
- Assistance to nationally regulated service personnel
- Preparation for tribunal work although mostly outsourced
- Dealing with discrimination claims
- Unfair dismissals
- General advisory work to line managers and HR staff

The Part Time - Employment Lawyer

You will be a UK qualified employment lawyer who can work for 30 hours per week. You will need to be at least 1 years PQE to be able to conduct the role to the appropriate standard. You will also be available to start work with a maximum of 1 month notice period.

The Benefits

The role comes with a highly competitive daily rate and flexible hours. The requirement is for 30 hours per week, the timing of this can be largely negotiated (condensed hours for 4 days, early starts or late finishes etc).
