Finance Director

I am working with a £20m turnover manufacturing group on South Manchester to recruit a Finance Director.

The Finance Director will lead a team of 5 and be responsible for:

• Working closely with the MD and senior management team and providing commercial and strategic support
• Ensuring monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts are produced accurately and on time by the finance team
• Presentation of monthly accounts at board meeting
• Oversee preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Review and control of foreign currency
• Ensure all financial and statutory regulations complied with.
• Responsible for all bank transactions authorisations.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's Directors/Managers 
• Assist Managing Director with Budget and AGM presentation to Shareholders.
• Liaise with external auditor and other professional advisors.
• Responsible for the production of the financial statutory accounts in conjunction with the auditors
• Responsible for the maintenance of a robust stock control system covering all aspects with Stock, Stock costings and purchasing.

Applicants should be fully Qualified with either experience at FD level or be an ambitious Financial Controller seeking their first FD role.  Manufacturing experience is preferred
