ABPM as experts in financial recruitment have been appointed by a growing retail and distribution company based in the Nottinghamshire to recruit a Commercial Accountant. The successful candidate will either need to be a qualified accountant, part-qualified or qualified by experience who can use strategic thinking and their commercially focused mind to challenge processes and drive business performance. A committed and enthusiastic individual who build relationships at all levels throughout the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial analysis on selling, pricing, contracts and discounts
• Understanding changes, business strategies and make recommendations upon this for future structures
• Build detailed financial models to be able to analyse data easily for improvements
• Adjustments and decision making to prevent risks
• Provide quality advice to teams to understand costing, profitability and sales.
• Working with finance to ensure business strategy and budgets align
• Adhere to policies and procedures ensuring information is accurate, efficient and safeguarded
• Ad-hoc tasks when required.

PROFILE

ACA/ACCA/ACMA/CIMA/PQ/QBE

Experience within retail, distribution or logistics would be beneficial

Commercially minded individual with a strong eye for detail

Ability to work with large amounts of data

To have experience as a financial analyst or management accountant
