With a rapidly expanding portfolio which has included a recent drive in the acquisition and development of alternative asset classes, they also acts as an asset manager which helps bolster the steady revenue streams. This continued success has led to a newly created position.

Your new role
Your Finance Director role is a key senior member of the growing UK team which is forecasted to continue developing its portfolio from both a development and management perspective. You will be responsible for supporting 3 Financial Controllers and will be tasked with producing investor reports including analysis of the portfolio performance, alongside managing and reviewing work of the outsourced third parties responsible for financial reporting and asset management. Importantly due to the growth of the business, you will be tasked with appraising current procedures and controls across the portfolio and improve them to facilitate more accurate and timely financial reporting. Due to the increased activity, financial due diligence and investment appraisals of new acquisitions will also form part of your work.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have strong academics and be ACA qualified whilst at an accountancy practice. After taking a move out of practice, you will now have experience of working in industry with experience of fundamental financial and management reporting. In addition, a good interest and understanding of the real estate market will support your ability to provide strategic insights. Strong Excel modelling capabilities will be required on a daily basis, and you will have natural communication skills, energy and charisma to fit into this high calibre environment.
