My client is looking for an Interim FP&A Manager based at the head office in Peterborough. My client is a global manufacturing organisation with exceptional longer term career opportunities. We are looking for an interim FP&A manager to add value to the Global team through the management and provision of reporting, planning & analysis including insight and recommendations to support business decision making and performance management.
- Supporting the Finance Director and the Finance Business Partners and working closely with global and regional finance contacts, and non finance.
- Performance management for the global operational teams
- Reporting, quarterly forecasts and annual budget including supporting analysis, commentary and presentations
- Incentive targets
- Provision of business decision support to the global business including in particular:
- Review, analysis and recommendations for pricing
- Margin management
- Delivered cost supply options
- Enabling tools - including sales reports, opportunity trackers
- Business case evaluation for projects - eg major capex, acquisitions, new products, restructuring
- Planning (supply and demand) analysis support - monthly volume trackers and 5 Year Plans
- Transfer pricing
- Plant capacities and costs by category by competitor / product / country
- Production KPI benchmarking
- Substrates analysis
- Freight costs
- Import duties
- 5 Year Plan (5YP) strategic planning
To apply for this role you will need to be fully ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with experience in a large complex manufacturing environment. You will also:
- Improve efficiency and control over the services provided including identifying and implementing opportunities to automate / systemise.
- Direct responsibility for the Finance Graduate (a rotation role).
- Track record of providing analysis, insight and supporting business decision making.
- Previous experience of working within a manufacturing.
- Experience or demonstrable potential to operate effectively in a flexible organisation structure.
- Experience working in a business with international exposure would be an advantage.
