Accountant

Your new organisation
Our client is a large professional services organisation based in Merthyr. They have an international presence in Europe, North America and Canada. They are recruiting for an accountant for an upcoming project carrying out a ledger investigation.

Your new role
In your new role you will work as part of a small team carrying out a ledger investigation. Your primary goal will be to identify any costs that can be passed on to the company's customers and to document this process. You will need to cross reference the associated costs with the relevant contracts and liaise with line managers to ascertain if the cost is passable or not. You will occasionally be expected to travel to present your findings to the organisation's senior management team.

What you'll need to succeed
As a qualified/part qualified accountant you will utilise your advanced excel and data interrogation skills to carry out and complete the project. You will possess an analytical mind set and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Experience with NAV would be desirable but not essential. You will need to be someone that thrives on a challenge and enjoys detail.

What you'll get in return
You will play a part in a unique 3 month long project that is exciting and investigative in nature. You will be paid £21 - 35 Per Hour dependant on experience and pay type. Your working hours will be 37 hours a week Monday to Friday.
