Corporate Legal Counsel - 2+ IT

Broad ranging and hands-on role at a leading fintech company that has recently made several significant acquisitions.

Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, you will be a flexible and pragmatic individual who thrives on a varied workload and working directly with the business.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

The core responsibilities of the Corporate Legal Team include the following. Prior experience in any of those is a plus, yet not required.

• Drafting and negotiation of software agreements with customers and (technology) suppliers
  - Proprietary software licences
  - SAAS agreements
  - PAAS agreements
  - OEM and other distribution agreements
• Trademark Portfolio Management:
  - Set and ensure compliance with Branding & Trademark Strategy
  - Advise on new applications, oppositions, litigation and other matters
• Partner business
  - Maintain and negotiate partner contracts, including Agents, OEM, Technology Partners, services subcontractors
• Open Source and Free Software strategy and day to day management
• Data protection/GDPR compliance
• Legal budget management
• Corporate compliance
  - sanctions, export control,
  - anti-bribery, gifts and entertainment, whistleblowing, modern slavery

Currently working either in-house or at a leading law firm you will be keen to join a global legal team of 10 that work closely with each other on numerous cutting edge transactions. Candidates in corporate and other areas with a strong aptitude and interest in IT are also encouraged to apply.
