Legal Counsel Job in Swindon - Flexible Working - £Competitive Salary

This employer of choice are an international company who are looking for a qualified legal counsel to join their Swindon office. The role entails extensive contact and interaction with business representatives at all levels of the organisation.

Your new role
You will provide corporate and commercial legal support and advice to my clients renewable energy business. The role will have a strong UK focus but on occasion may involve working on projects abroad.

The role will be very hands on and you will have the ability to handle a broad range of commercial and corporate matters. The role is likely to involve construction contract work (contentious and non-contentious), merger and acquisition work, joint ventures, assisting on projects and drafting and negotiating all manner of commercial agreements.

What you'll need to succeed

• A Qualified solicitor or barrister.
• Strong drafting skills and good commercial acumen.
• Instruction and management of external lawyers from time to time.
• High degree of flexibility and self-motivation.
• Able to deliver high quality legal advice in a commercial context.
• Comfortable briefing senior management on significant legal issues
• Some experience in dealing with construction contracts is a pre-requisite.
