Digital Marketing Financial Controller role £55,000 - £65,000


My client, a successful and award winning London based marketing agency have an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join their established finance team as a Financial Controller.

You will be working as a key member of the 6 person finance team reporting to the Board whilst supporting the Chief Operating Officer and the Group Finance Director with the management of the London agency's finances as well as the financial control of two 'out of town' subsidiaries. Internal reporting and tight financial control, together with review and improvements to systems and processes are key parts of the role.

As the Financial Controller you will have a highly visible role across the group, in particular assisting subsidiary boards, client facing teams and supporting Shared Resources.

Main Responsibilities for this Role:
General Financial Management Responsible for timely and accurate month end process, with review, analysis, identification and implementation of operational improvements. Monthly board reporting, banking and treasury management.
Team Management Day to day management and development of the team in London - comprising of a finance manager, management accountant, finance assistant and the finance managers.
Process Improvements Assist the COO in the identification of risks and drive process and control improvements to increase efficiency across the group.
Membership of Operations Management Group.
Systems Management Accounting system analysis and identification of improvements and/or new systems. Projects Ad hoc projects & responsibilities such as assisting with preparation for internal and external audits, working on acquisitions.

To apply you will need to be a:
Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
Minimum of one job in industry post qualification
Numerate, coupled with good verbal and communication skills
Strong computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel
Strong communicator and able to communicate to stakeholders at all levels
Significant staff management experience
Analytical and enquiring approach
Positive outlook - Attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Team player
Enjoys making things happen
