In-House Commercial/IT Solicitor

Our Manchester based client is a fast growing and highly acquisitive international e-commerce company. Due to a growth in tech specific work, the Legal Director seeks to recruit a dedicated technology/software solicitor to work as its In-house Commercial/IT Solicitor.


Our Manchester based client is a rapidly expanding and highly acquisitive e-commerce company. Extremely fast-paced and entreprenurial, opportunities to get involved in varied and interesting work is a certainty.

Due to an uplift in the amount of technology work being handled by the company and legal department, following recent acquisitions, the Legal Director seeks to add a dedicated Commercial/IT Solicitor to the team.

Working as the companies specialist technology resource, the In-house Commercial/IT Solicitor will handle a broad spectrum of commercial/IT/software contracts and agreements, and assist on transactions and acquisitions involving technology companies. You will be responsible for your own caseload, albeit support is there in the form of the wider legal team, and you will be the go to person for all technology related matters across the Group.

To be considered for the role, you should have circa 3-6 years' PQE dealing with commercial/IT contracts, gained at a leading commercial law firm or in-house department. A good work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to get on with people is essential.
