Interim Finance Director

A prominent service and distribution business with a well-established international brand is looking to appoint an influential interim finance director to play a pivotal role in the leadership of the business.  The successful interim will contribute to company strategy whilst managing and developing the finance function through the next growth phase. PE backed with ambitious growth plans and an enviable blue-chip client list across Europe, the successful interim will need to demonstrate working within a PE environment and have corporate finance/deal experience. The interim finance director will be responsible for the following activities:

• Work alongside CEO and investors to build 5 year strategic business plan
  
  
  
• Manage, motivate and develop a small but capable finance team
  
  
  
• Ensure robust financial controls and processes are in place and are scalable as the business grows
  
  
  
• Effective working capital management
  
  
  
• Deliver improved MI for investors and internal stakeholders to aid decision making
  
  
  
• Review monthly management accounts and provide commentary for board meetings
  
  
  
• Adhoc project work including corporate finance work
