Divisional Finance Director

Our client is a major division of a Blue Chip, best in class, services provider enjoying an enviable and established track record and high profile customer base.

The organisation as a whole is on a drive to ensure that its business proposition continues to be cutting edge and has embarked on a major change program.  As part of this, it is looking to increase the level of business partnering in one of its major divisions by recruiting a new Finance Director to work alongside the Managing Director.  The division is a major contributor to Group revenues and has a focus on a high growth sector of the UK economy.

The role will suit only the most tenacious of Finance Directors, those keen and able to work as a full peer to a Managing Director and take a leading role in driving the business forward.  The role demands the highest levels of both leadership and influencing skills and individuals must be comfortable providing both financial and commercial insight and guidance to the sector's Managing Director in defining strategy, priorities and financial goals.

The role represents an excellent high profile entry point into the organisation with excellent future prospects for promotion.

Candidates will be qualified accountants with a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience in a financial role at a senior and truly accountable level.  The will ideally have worked in both larger and more entrepreneurial businesses with a multi-site element and a focus on profitability and performance.
