Rare part-time opportunity in-house for a corporate lawyer, 6+

An exciting opportunity has arisen in-house within a leading venture capital firm, for a corporate lawyer to join the legal team on a part-time basis (3 days a week).  Working closely with the senior legal counsel, you will assist with all transactions relating to the companies' investments, as well as managing your own proprietary workflow.

Key responsibilities will include:
- structuring, negotiating and managing equity and debt investments
- handling post-investment portfolio management matters such as disposals, IPO's, restructurings
- instructing and managing external counsel
- developing know-how
- drafting term sheets and negotiating legal documentation.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 6 years' PQE with transactional experience in: M&A, private equity and/or venture capital. Profiles from both in house and private practice candidates will be considered, although experience making minority investments is highly advantageous. The role requires someone who can lead on transactions and who enjoys working within a friendly, down-to-earth environment.
