Finance Transformation Project Lead

Finance Transformation Project Lead / London or Scotland ideally or Flexible location.

Arnold Ash have been retained by a market leading B2B manufacturing, retail and distribution business to identify a Finance Transformation Project Lead to join on a 12 month contract to drive and implement their new Target Operating Model (TOM) in a newly established Finance Shared Service. You must have experience in the creation / establishment of a Shared Service as a Transformation Lead.

Experience of the Finance Transformation Project Lead:

• Establishing a new Target Operating Model for Global Finance Operations (International experience!)
• Setting up of a Global Shared Services Centre and implementation of enabling technology
• Implementing processes in to an organisation

• Program management qualification (Prince2)
• Demonstrable RAID experience
• Demonstrable experience in a Project/Programme Management, overseeing delivery of business critical projects

• Excellent project management skills - planning, tracking progress, resource allocation, outcome delivery, etc.
• Strong problem solving skills with an analytical approach.
• Familiarity with related software tools.

• PMO best practice in a commercial environment.

Duties and responsibilities of the Finance Transformation Project Lead:

• Project management of the clients finance project to establish a new Target Operating Model for finance operations including the setting up of a Global Shared Services Centre and implementation of enabling technology
• Responsibility for maintaining the Project Plan and all associated documentation e.g. RAID
• Ownership of Project Plan and meeting key project milestones
• Maintenance of all Project documentation including RAID log
• Resource plan
• Engagement with all key stakeholder groups
