Your new role

Due to an internal change they are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Director into a new position. In this role you would be managing a team of staff directly with a number of indirect reports, covering multiple sites and contracts of open and closed books. You would be there to drive, influence and manage the financial controls, with your team delivering accurate financial results in a strong control-focused environment. Highly strategic, this customer-facing position is working directly with the clients to ensure that supply chain costs are managed effectively. You would be actively contributing in delivering the UK finance strategy.

What you'll need to succeed

Fully qualified, the ideal applicant will have a recent demonstrable background working in a customer-facing position either in the contract logistics sector or with a top contract based, service firm. Key technical strengths would include experience working on large multi-user contracts, proven background working in a role of similar stance covering all financial controls and the ability to take responsibility with decision making. It is essential that you possess excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence and drive to present well to the customer and to non-finance colleagues. You will be highly commercial with a confident and knowledgeable strategic approach.
