Legal Counsel - Drilling Experience - Global Energy Business - South East

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global business that is listed on more than one Exchange. They work closely with oil & gas companies including major household names.

Due to the increased growth and potential, our client is now seeking to recruit a bright, commercial lawyer with solid legal experience relating to drilling contracts. This person will work in a small team, advise all divisions in the business and report directly to the General Counsel. 

Naturally, as an in-house role, you will draft, review, negotiate and advise on various commercial agreements. You will enjoy working on stimulating and challenging projects.

Requirements

• Eligible to work and qualified in the UK
• 4 - 6 years PQE*
• Knowledge and experience in commercial law
• Extensive drilling contract experience is required
• In-house experience i.e. secondment would be advantageous
• Energy, Drilling, Shipping/Maritime, Engineering sector experience (desired)
