LEGAL COUNSEL, MAJOR PROJECTS, ABU DHABI CLIENT: Our client is involved in major construction projects and hold key JV alliances with a spread of top tier international companies. They are looking to grow their existing legal team and are in need of an additional Legal Counsel to join them in Abu Dhabi. ROLE: The role will cover a broad spectrum of work such as procurement, IT, construction, EPC and general commercial matters, though there will be a focus towards projects related work. There will be a large amount of drafting, negotiating and working closely with internal business teams. You will also be expected to help with mentoring and training more junior members of staff. CANDIDATE: It is strongly desirable that you have trained and qualified with an international standard law firm, or have worked at a multinational corporate. Ideal candidates will come from a projects and construction background but be comfortable handling general commercial work too. This is intended to be a role for someone with around 2-5 years' of PQE. It will be hugely beneficial to be based in the region already, although strong overseas applications will be considered.
