Legal Counsel - Technology - South East

International technology company now seeks a further commercial (technology) lawyer to join their established legal team.

Reporting to the regional Legal Director and supporting the European Region,  the role is broad and involves providing transactional support to the commercial sales team, advising on dispute resolution, regulations as well as providing general day to day ad hoc legal support. The successful Candidate will be expected to act as a key legal business partner on large, high value contract negotiations including public RFPs. Contracts will typically include large outsourcing and technology service agreements (software, hardware and professional services agreements), often cross jurisdictional in nature.  

You will be UK or European qualified with fluency in at least one other language apart from English. Candidate should also ideally be able to demonstrate some previous post qualification experience of multi-jurisdictional contract negotiations, negotiating large and complex IT contracts and advising on public RFPs.  Generally, Candidates should be familiar with intellectual property and data issues as they arise in commercial IT contracts.
