Your new role

You will be responsible for legal support on a broad range of high value complex commercial construction and outsource transactions. You will be expected to provide excellent commercial legal advice whilst assisting in the governance of transactions at local and group level. You will be working closely with colleagues including throughout the group and with customers on a daily basis. You will also be confident in managing external legal resources on particular projects to the best benefit of the company. One of your key tasks will be providing advice to operational teams on appropriate strategies in relation to disputes that have not yet been formalised. Your input and involvement will be vital in developing and delivering toolkits and legal awareness training on various issues for colleagues across the business on the legal process and how to avoid legal pitfalls.


What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be UK qualified with 5+PQE (but candidates with other levels of experience will also be considered). You will have solid experience working on non-contentious matters within an in-house construction team or a top ranked private practice firm. You will also have excellent knowledge of construction suite contracts
