Finance Director

My client is a v fast growing and innovative Food Manufacturing privately owned company based in Greater Manchester.

The company continues to develop an exciting range of award winning Food brands and are pioneers in exploiting a full range of Online sales and marketing channels as well as other interactive social media communication lines to connect with a growing customer base of both Trade buyers and increasingly to their fast expanding consumer audience selling directly to the public.

The company has successfully branched out from its original UK domestic market, now increasingly selling its products all around the World.

As a result of this rapid expansion, my client is now looking to recruit a high calibre FD to act as "business partner" to the inspirational MD as part of an energetic and forward thinking Senior Management Team.

The brief will include:

• Develop a high quality and efficient Finance team to provide timely and robust financial information and control.
• Develop MI/KPI's to challenge existing practices and support key decision making processes.
• Develop a robust business infrastructure, and ongoing development of best in class systems and processes, to be fit for purpose to support and facilitate the company's rapid expansion and innovation.
• Work proactively with senior colleagues across the business to constantly "think outside of the box" to explore and  profitably execute exciting new business initiatives and opportunities - from new product development at the factory floor, to exploiting new sales/marketing/branding/promotional initiatives through to breaking into new customer markets and JV's on an International and global basis. 
• Act as first point of contact with all professional stakeholders and funders.
• Overall, to operate as a vital and influential key player to ensure the company achieves its exciting and challenging profitable growth strategy.

My client is seeking a top drawer, technically strong and commercially switched on, FD with the energy and ambition to join a like-minded SMT at this key stage of the company's evolution and growth "journey".

In order to hit the ground running which is vital, the successful candidate will be able to clearly display a successful track record of directly being involved in driving powerful growth of Food related FMCG branded products.

You must also be IT/Tech "savvy" with experience of successfully launching and developing similar e-commerce sales channels to provide a boost to the focused fast growing Online business model.
