Blackwaters is recruiting a Financial Controller for a leading specialist food manufacturer near Uxbridge. It's a private equity backed business on a growth path offering a dynamic, fast and challenging environment for this person. They will report to the FD and be key to providing effective controls and insight.
Main duties
- Manage team of 3 accountants
- Responsible for month end close and approval
- Production of monthly board pack
- Own overheads budgeting and forecasting cycle
- Partner with stakeholders with guidance and recommendation
- Responsible for rolling cash forecast
- Instigate improvements to controls and processes, support business development projects
- Lead statutory reporting and audit
Person criteria
- ACA/ACCA qualified with audit history
- Exposure to financial reporting in industry
- Proactive, tenacious and robust attitude
