Finance Director

Our client is a well established FMCG company, looking for a driven and ambitious Finance Director to support the business in the next phase of its growth agenda. This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate playing a major role in the growth of the business and be a critical part of the leadership team. You will be a strong leader with vision to help guide the future direction of both the company and the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading, mentoring and developing a small finance team
• Take a proactive role with the leadership team to formulate and execute the strategic plan
• Overall responsibility for the finance function through accurate financial forecasting, month end, year end, annual budgeting, cash management and preparation of financial accounts
• Manage key external relationships with banks, auditors, lenders, insurers and other professional advisers
• Working closely with commercial teams to provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new growth opportunities
• Develop, implement and manage the internal controls and compliance function
• Review of external contracts and services to ensure best value
• Manage FX/Hedging responsibilities and international relationships

To be considered, you will be a fully qualified accountant with extensive senior level experience and a proven track record in successfully growing a business. The successful candidate will be commercial, strategic, and ambitious with the drive and passion to propel a business through significant growth.
