Vice President - Algorithmic Trading Developer #109976

We Offer Advanced Execution Services (AES) is seeking an Algo Developer to join its Algorithmic Strategy product team. The Algorithmic Strategy Product team is responsible for maintaining, improving, and developing new algorithmic trading strategies for the US markets. The strategies run on the AES US based system which is a Linux/C++ based platform. Algo developers on the team also have the opportunity to work with and collaborate with teams in both Europe and Asia. Responsibilities: Production-quality implementation of trading strategies and/or their functional components Performance monitoring and identifying opportunities to improve the performance and consistency of the core trading algorithms based on quantitative analysis of the execution data Adapting the trading strategies to changing market conditions and greenfield projects to identify new trading opportunities You Offer Qualifications: Successful candidate will have an advanced degree in computer science or a related field Experience with automated trading systems Solid knowledge of Equity Market Microstructure Production-level C++ experience Familiarity with databases and/or data analysis using SQL or R Excellent communication skills Focus on collaboration and teamwork Preferred Qualifications: Quantitative research experience and/or background Algorithmic trading experience desired Knowledge of transaction cost analysis desired Buy Side experience desired *LI-TY1* Vice President - Algorithmic Trading Developer #109976
