We Offer The Corporate Bank is responsible for negotiating and originating lead loan arrangements and loan participations for Investment Banking clients and the department handles $65b in long term committed loan exposure. The Transaction Management Group (TMG) provides enthusiastic support to the Corporate Lending team to pipeline and close new loan transactions. TMG also works closely with Portfolio Management Group to support risk management reporting and trading activities. The team is integral to developing and driving department business analysis and management reporting and in leading new business and business change projects. You will be working as part of a team coordinating client lending requests, working with front to back operational teams to complete pre-closing workflow requirements. Key responsibilities include completing Credit Risk Management deal approvals, coordinating closing requirements with Loan Operations and Product Control. Post-closing, you will work with Portfolio Management to organize loan exposure data and to run business analysis. You will also work with Corporate Lending to ensure all loan servicing requirements have been met. You will also work with Corporate Bank COO team to conduct business reviews, produce detailed business metrics and produce management reports. Successful individuals will be able to establish effective camaraderie across the business area, have a high level of dedication to assigned work, and be passionate about growing their technical understanding of the lending product, credit risk, P&L and capital and funding. Key responsibilities: Individuals need to be able to handle assignments, ensuring that up-to-date information has been communicated to senior management, that pre and post-closing deal requirements have been completed, and that all ongoing credit management processes are up to date; Complete post-closing workflows, collection of loan closing documents and validation of booked positions; Support various pipeline and closed deal reporting requirements, including data analysis and drafting of presentations; Lead and contribute to department projects, new business and business change projects; Manage on-going business compliance requirements; Contribute to and lead new business and business change projects. You Offer You completed an undergraduate degree, business, accounting or related field preferred. You can manage reports and have strong analytical and problem solving skills. You have the capability to handle and interpret large data sets of business information. You have good interpersonal skills (written and verbal). You have excellent social skills, ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. You have the ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in confidential matters. You have confidence to work with senior management; You are technically proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau and Alteryx (including equations, pivot tables, macros, PowerPoint charts, slide master formats, etc.).
