Robertson Bell Finance are working with a forward thinking, proactive local council in West London to recruit a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join a small, pivotal team with a large impact. This role reports to the Head of Commercial Finance and requires working on major projects and developments including property building, regeneration schemes, and joint ventures. Key responsibilities include:
*Liaising with budget holders and heads of department to drive down costs by applying strategic financial expertise
*Conduct expert financial modelling, running 'what if' scenarios while taking in the wider scope of projects into account
*Be the financial expert for the divisional management team, and provide financial reports to assist decision making
*Supervise a small team of management accountants and assistant management accountants in the production of journals to be used in the delivery of budgeting and forecasting information
*Draft financial implications of project-wide proposals and conduct activity-based costing by working closely alongside the group's budget holders.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CCAB) with at least 3 years' experience post qualification. Experience business partnering or financial analysis in multi-million-pound projects will be needed due to the posts' scope of influence. First-class written and spoken communication is essential, as the role requires you to be able to influence senior budget holders.
