A specialist advisory firm needs the skillset of a Management Accountant to join their Central London based office. A strong candidate will have insolvency experience. This position is due to last 3 months in duration, however there is a strong potential to be extended or enter permanency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and presenting results to the team
- Completion of all balance sheet reconciliations each month, with a proactive resolution of any issues within them
- Production of budgets, reforecasts and variance analysis
- Continually develop reporting and analysis to improve visibility of results/performance
- Ad hoc projects
Candidate Requirements:
- Insolvency experience is crucial
- Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills - Written and Verbal
- Time management and ability to prioritise work load effectively
- Ability to build collaborative relationships and work as part of a team
