Risk and Compliance Lawyer

Are you an experienced Risk and Compliance Lawyer looking for a new challenge?

An exciting new senior level role has arisen in the Risk and Compliance group at a US law firm. This varied role will involve assisting in the London office advising partners, legal and office staff on legal and risk matters affecting the firm, including regulatory compliance, client on-boarding, procurement and investigations.

The successful candidate will be involved in implementing internal risk processes and providing advice as new regulations come into force, as well as devising and providing training on risk topics. You will manage a small team of Risk Analysts and will oversee the monitoring and maintenance of policies and procedures.

This role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and some home working is possible.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have at least 5PQE and will have considerable Risk and Compliance experience (including experience of anti money laundering and sanctions), ideally gained in a major global law firm. You must have strong leadership skills and must be able to inspire confidence and understand the significance of matters in the wider context of the firm's business.
