A British multi-national company, at the forefront of modern technology and sustainable solutions, is looking for an Interim Legal Counsel to join their business. The initial length of contract is for 3months with the possibility of more and even perhaps a permanent position. The role is based in Central London near Blackfriars.

The role deals with new technologies, for example within the automotive sector (electric vehicle batteries, exhaust emission controls and fuel cells). The role is wide and varied across multiple sectors but you could be involved with R&D projects, recent acquisitions or sales of technology solutions.

Role requirements

- Provide legal advice on a wide range of domestic and international commercial, disputes and compliance matters.
- Provide advice to the procurement, technology, supply chain, sales and marketing functions.
- Cross border contracts.
- Draft and negotiate contracts in order to mitigate the risk and protect the business. These contracts could include terms and conditions, joint development agreements, confidentiality agreements, sale/purchase agreements across the areas of competition, commercial, IP, tax and employment law.
- Ensure risk management and compliance risk management is in place and adhered to.
- Experience within M&A matters is desirable but not essential.

- A lawyer comfortable dealing in a broad array of technology solutions
- Strong communicator able to articulate risk but keeping the commercial goals in mind
- Strong Commercial, Compliance and M&A experience
