Corporate Solicitor - Partner Opportunity

Our client is a leading Legal 500 Commercial Yorkshire practice with a fantastic reputation both regionally and nationally.

They are looking for a Corporate Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE at a strong regional or national practice to join their team at either Partner or Partner designate level. Whilst not a Big 6 practice this firm regularly deal with top quality Corporate Work and are recognised as such in the major legal directories.

This role is based in Huddersfield and ideally the candidate should have ties or affiliations to the area. Those commuting to either Leeds or Manchester - looking to stay more local would be perfectly suited to the role.

The role would be perfect for those either already at Partner/Director level or those close to it but feel that they are ready to make the move now rather than wait a couple of years. With access to really great work and a better work-life balance than national and international practices this really is a fantastic role.

Dealing with your own caseload of excellent quality work from leading regional and national clients you will also manage a small team of 4 in Huddersfield and as part of a wider Corporate team across the region.

Although a following is not absolutely necessary it would be expected that at this level of PQE the right person will have excellent contacts, and links to local, regional and national businesses and organisations.

Leadership skills are also of paramount importance to the role, you must have the personality and characteristics to be able to manage and grow a team. You should also be excellent at developing, growing and maintaining business relationships and be confident networking and pitching for business.

In terms of salary the firm are willing to pay upwards of £80k up to around £100k depending on experience for the right candidate with a generous benefits package.
