Commercial Solicitor. A leading national firm is seeking a commercial solicitor with quality experience in general commercial contracts, intellectual property and information technology to join its highly regarded Birmingham office working as part of the firm's national commercial team. Flexible working patterns, agile working and part-time (4 day) applications will be considered.

The Role:
* Depending on seniority, assisting on and/or managing a broad commercial contracts caseload for clients across a wide range of sectors.
* Work will include day to day trading agreements through to specialist matters and project work.
* IP/IT
* Outsourcing
* Data protection
* Competition/State Aid
* Sports and franchising
* Training and mentoring junior members of the team
* Business development and networking

Candidate Requirements:
* At least two years' post qualification experience in commercial contracts (service agreements to agency and distribution agreements to outsourcing)
* Ideally IP and/or IT experience (protection and exploitation experience, licences, assignments, collaboration agreements and IT procurement and service provisions)
* Solid technical skills and a good academic background
* An interest in business development, networking and marketing
