A leading, fast paced company in West London is looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to work closely with the Commercial Directors, Project Managers, Operational Leads and Finance Director to deliver a number of commercial returns.

The business has an established international client portfolio and are fast becoming the leaders in the sector due to their service focus and commitment to good practice, which is driving organic growth. Reporting to the Financial Director, you will be responsible for improving the financial and operational performance of the business and quickly embark on a number projects with clear outcomes in mind.

The position will suit a confident, proactive and ambitious finance professional with a desire to support the Financial Director with the continued growth of the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Business partnering with the Commercial Directors, Project Managers and Operational Leads
  • Project manage key business added value project, cost saving and revenue generating
  • Providing timely and accurate reporting of spend by project and forecast
  • Analysing the monthly financial results and monitoring adherence to the budgets and forecasts
  • Providing commentary on the variances to the forecast, ensuring the key stakeholders are aware of corrective actions
  • Driving improvements to the forecast and budget process to ensure continued forecast accuracy
  • Identifying risks and opportunities to drive the return on investments of projects
  • Identifying opportunities to drive improvements and streamline the process

This role requires a driven, qualified or part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) with experience within fast growing SME environment and the capacity to develop strong business relationships. The successful candidate will have follow these key criteria:

  • A couple of years at least commercial experience (preferably SME)
  • Not necessarily fully qualified, but must be commercial
  • Looking at building a career in the business and becoming a long term team member
  • Strong work ethic, good communicator, reliable, honest and good social skills.
