Our client is a Financial Services organisation based in Berkshire. The role of Tax Manager is to support the Head of Tax in meeting the tax compliance responsibilities of the business, optimising the tax position and establishing a robust tax risk and governance framework.

Tax Manager Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate submission to HMRC of group VAT returns
• Corporation tax and deferred tax provisioning, corporation tax returns
• Reviewing monthly tax provision for corporation tax, including deferred taxes
• Review and sign-off of monthly attestation process for all corporation and deferred B/S accounts prepared by Tax Accountant.
• R&D claims and assisting with ad hoc tax queries and tax aspects of projects
• Income Tax reporting: Managing the return to be submitted to HMRC in respect of interest reporting.
• To act as an ambassador to the organization in providing pro-active and effective tax support.

Tax Manager skills:

• Qualified accountant or tax advisor
• Financial services experience is essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills
