This role would suit a tech/mobile business development manager or sales manager with experience of selling software solutions to agencies and brands operating in the retail, FMCG, entertainment and leisure sectors. With a head office in Norwich, the role will be mainly field-based with a significant proportion of time spent in London, so there is an opportunity to be remotely-based. Significant equity opportunity via share options.

This is an innovative mobile technology scale-up targeting high growth over the next 12 months. They create cloud-based mobile proximity payment and marketing solutions that allow brands and their agencies to add interactivity and transactional functionality to print, packaging, products, and even people - without the cost of building and maintaining their own infrastructure.

As part of their growth plans, they are looking for an experienced and highly-driven sales professional who is highly personable, enthusiastic about new technology and very comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment. You will be adept at identifying new opportunities, opening doors, and building relationships, with a relentless focus on winning and growing business.

Reporting directly to the CEO as part of the existing Exec Team, you will possess drive, tenacity, intuition and energy, with a natural flair for sales and the ability to tailor propositions to customer needs. Your primary focus will be selling their solutions to agencies, helping them to embed their products and platform into their campaigns, but you may also be selling directly to end clients. You will spend most of your time in the field (predominantly London-based) with at least one day each week in Norwich, with attendance at exhibitions and events as required.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Pick up and develop existing opportunities and relationships
- Develop new opportunities in your target markets
- Build relationships with key partners, prospects and clients
- Identify and implement successful business growth plans
- Close deals and secure commercial contracts

For the right candidate, this role could evolve into a board, business unit head or global role.

- Passion for cloud-based software businesses, with experience in similar roles
- Track record of winning business, building relationships and growing revenue, particularly in the agency sector
- A strong business head and process-driven approach to sales
- Confident demonstrating and pitching business software solutions to key decision makers at all levels
- Love of technology, particularly mobile/smartphone services/apps
