Our client is a leading independent regulator responsible for promoting high quality corporate governance. They now wish to hire a Senior Lawyer to join their enforcement team of junior and experienced lawyers. The role will involve the conduct and management of investigations and prosecutions. The Role
You will work under the supervision of Senior management and work as part of an experienced team of lawyers where you will focus on drafting notices and requests for information from parties under investigation. You will review audit material and reports prepared by the in-house forensic team where you will process the framing strategy and drive complex cases forward. You will work closely with internal and external advisers where you'll collate and prepare evidence to take control of all aspects of preparation for Tribunals.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8yrs PQE and be a UK qualified Lawyer or Barrister with expertise in regulatory and/or commercial litigation. Ideally you will have previous experience gained from a leading city law firm, authority, regulator or disciplinary body. You will be required to have a natural ability to proactively drive forward large and complex cases. For this opportunity you must have excellent written communication and relationship management skills and work well under pressure and to deadlines.
