A nationally leading technology company are looking to hire a Legal Counsel to join their legal team for a four-month contract, based in central London.
About the role
Reporting into Head of Legal for the consumer business division, the Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice relating to a range of commercial and consumer matters.
Key responsibilities
- Providing legal support in relation to consumer law that is applicable to the UK and international business
- Providing advice in relation to terms of business, data protection, advertising and marketing and general commercial contracts
- Reviewing and drafting agreements with suppliers of services, technology agreements and software licences
Key requirements
- Qualified solicitor of at least 1-year PQE
- Experience of advising, within a law firm or in-house, consumer related issues in the form of commercial contracts, data protection and/or e-commerce
- Ability to speak other EU languages (particularly French) would be advantageous
- Due to this being an urgent hire, it is strongly preferred that candidates are immediately available
