Legal Counsel

A FTSE 100 PLC and household name is seeking to recruit a Legal Counsel to join the team at their Head Office in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, and provide legal advice on a broad range of commercial agreements relating to one of their most well known high street brands.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Counsel, key responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, negotiating and review a range of commercial contracts;
- Advising on and implementing improvements to the brand's standard legal documentation;
- Providing support to the brand's various marketing functions;
- Advising the brand on any contentious matters; and
- Communicating complex technical issues to key stakeholders.
The Person
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 4 years PQE in a commercial setting, either in-house or with a major commercial firm. You will be confident handling a variety of commercial agreements with strong drafting and negotiating skills, as well as being adept at managing relationships with stakeholders and Heads of Departments.
