Finance Director

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a financial controller to take their first step into a directorship position. Part of a PLC but with complete autonomy at a local level this business is a market leader in its field.
The post holder will be fully accountable for the financial health of the business, ensuring financial control is effectively managed throughout the business and ensuring regulatory compliance. Adopting a hands on approach you will have both commercial and operational input with some business partnering experience being vital. Strategically, you will form part of the executive leadership team shaping the future of the business through the creation and review of the business plan and ensuring the business is able to adapt as required to support the growth aspiration.
A qualified accountant, you will be a proven pro-active leader of a small finance team with a commitment to getting the job done and a dedication to advancing the standards of the finance function by finding efficiencies wherever possible.
Based close to the city centre, public transport would be the most practical mode of transport although parking can be provided.
