Interim Financial Controller

International Retail business based in the West Midlands require an Interim Financial Controller for 6 months initially. You will support the leadership team following a period of change to provide strong accounting knowledge and drive best practice across controls and processes for the division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly close of the European division, along with all general ledger activity and balance sheet management
• Drive best practice to ensure controls and processes are in place surrounding intercompany accounting, accounts receivable and other operational areas.
• Support the finance leadership with the ultimate team structure and responsibilities as the company continues on its growth curve
• Liaise effectively with 3^rd party provider, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and risks are mitigated where necessary

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
• Detailed experience surrounding general ledger and financial accounting practices (IFRS and/or USGAAP)
• Experience operating in a Controllership role within a matrixed divisional or head office role
• Strong stakeholder management skills; both internally and with 3^rd party providers
