Senior Finance Business Partner

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner, to work within the Business Information and Information Technology division of this large FTSE-listed company based in Warwickshire. This is a highly visible role, working closely with the CFO, Board and other Senior Stakeholders across the business. You will provide senior financial and commercial support and analysis to the IT Division, to ensure they achieve their targets and objectives, oversee cost control, and challenge performance - which will ultimately drive improvements and profitability for the business as a whole.

As Senior Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include:

• Participate in meetings and reviews, providing insight and support using both financial and non-financial data and KPI's, as well as challenging Management on their performance, future plans and outlook
• Keep up-to-date on current and potential developments which could have a financial impact, assessing the risks/opportunities and advising the Senior Management Team and CFO in a timely manner
• Oversee Cost Control
• Understanding and communicating current performance through detailed variance analysis; highlighting underlying business performance and identifying and maintaining a register of risks and opportunities
• Provide financial support for large scale projects
• Production of board reports, review materials and budget packs
• Identifying and tracking further business efficiencies / risks
• Working with budget holders to deliver opportunities and minimise risk

The successful applicant to this Senior Finance Business Partner role will be a degree-educated (1st or 2:1) Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), with solid experience of business partnering within a large Corporate. You will have impeccable interpersonal skills, enjoy building secure and trustworthy relationships at all levels, have a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical and commercial bias. You will be able to persuade and influence, and present complex financial data and concepts in a clear and concise way to non-finance professionals.
