In-House Lawyer, 2-3 PQE, Glasgow

Unique role for a Commercial lawyer to move in-house and join a dynamic financial services organisation based in their offices in Glasgow.

The role will be working in the Financial Products team where you will join a skilled and dynamic team providing expert legal advice in relation to a broad range of retail and business banking products, as well as supporting other strategic projects. 

Additional Responsibilities include:

• Facilitate strategic initiatives in the product area (including in terms of digital growth).
• Manage legal risk across the product portfolio.
• Managing external panel firms.
• Understanding the business and providing bespoke training on legal matters as required.

Candidate Requirements:

• A current practicing certificate from the Law Society of Scotland or the Law Society of England and Wales.
• Good analytical and decision making skills together with an ability to communicate in a commercial and non-technical manner.
• Prior experience of financial services/ financial products would be beneficial but not essential for this role.
