Our client is a global manufacturing organisation with a commitment to superior quality and an enviable reputation for technology and innovation. The company now seek to appoint an experienced and talented Finance professional to contribute to, and share in the future success of the business.

The Role

  • Working with business leaders on strategic projects, based at the regional head office with responsibility for North Region (UK, Ireland and the Nordics) reporting.
  • Delivering annual budgets, monthly rolling forecast, actual reporting & analysis.
  • Business partnering with key stakeholders to include guiding the business on key decisions such as modelling scenarios for business decisions, analysis of existing business to identify inefficiencies and improvements, reporting back to stakeholders in all areas of the business, from the business operations team to director level.
  • Working closely with the business operations team on all areas including pricing and planning.
  • Reporting, presentation and communication of monthly results to the local teams and the directors providing them with the tools to run the business effectively, and collection of information to feed back to the finance team.

The Person

  • Graduate calibre and part qualified AAT, ACCA or CIMA, with a minimum 5 years' experience gained in a Senior Analyst or Financial Business Controller role in Financial Planning & Analysis within a B2B commercial environment
  • An interest in developing Excel skills to an advanced level. Strong system experience in SAP/BI and Microsoft Dynamics NAV, advanced Microsoft Excel. SAP or large ERP system experience desirable
  • A background in the FMCG or Automotive sectors would be an advantage - particularly with exposure to Sales and Production
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written together with the confidence and the commercial awareness to succeed within a forward facing sales environment
