Position: Executive Director (CEO)
Introduction: The Waynesboro Area YMCA focuses on youth, families, and seniors. The Y's service vision is to be the "Friendliest Place in Town" by making every Y experience a warm and friendly one. The Y offers extensive quality child care, as well as, youth and wellness programs. Community outreach and inter-agency cooperation are part of all the Y does.
Board Expectations The board expects its CEO to lead the Y toward measurable excellence, with particular em-phasis as follows:
• Implement An Ongoing Strategic Planning Process
• Strengthen Operational and Fiscal Performance
• Development of a Strong Staff Team
• Assure Continued Organizational Emphasis on the Strategic Plan
• Lead Fundraising Efforts
The CEO will be an ambassador for the mission and vision for the YMCA. The CEO will be a respected leader with the ability to develop and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, while always upholding the highest values including the Y's non-denominational Christian em-phasis.
