Axon Moore are working with a fast-growing PE-backed retailer to help them hire a Retail Finance Manager. The role has been created to support the development of MI / Analysis and business partnering which will help inform and influence the decision making of senior management, thus driving improved efficiency in retail operations.

Key duties / responsibilities
- Ongoing development of meaningful financial and operational management information
- Management and development of an Analyst
- Management of the retail budget process
- Profitability reviews to store level, identification of risks and opportunities across the store portfolio
- Business partnering with Retail Director, Senior Regional Managers and Area Managers
- Preparation of business cases for projects and new initiatives across the business
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
- Business facing experience in a retail business is highly desirable
- May consider candidates with multi-site operationally focussed FBP experience
- Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ambitious / self-starter / tenacious / resilient character
