In House - Funds Lawyer - Regulatory - 2+ pqe - London - Big 4 Accountancy Practice Commercial legal team

Our client is a 'Big4' accountancy practice with a thriving legal business network in growth mode. They are looking to further develop their legal services offering by growing their Financial Regulatory team with the appointment of a Funds lawyer with 2+ years experience. The team provides legal advice and support, often with other teams, on high profile cross border matters to businesses, governments and public authorities all over the world. 

Candidates will have experience from a recognised funds legal practice or an in-house commercial team and the following: 
·         experience of advising on and managing funds transactions in the financial services/asset management space. .
·        Excellent technical skills essential, with knowledge of a range of products including within the funds space, including debt and venture, private closed ended and publicly listed, foreign and domestic funds structures (AIFMD and UCITS). Experience of acting for institutional investors with a similar profile to the Bank a distinct advantage.
·        Strong transactional skills, with experience of working with front line business leads essential and managing external legal counsel desirable.
·        Technical expertise in financial regulation advisory, both supporting due diligence and investment structures in transactional work as well as advising.

An ability to engage in business development and networking is also essential, along with your passion to input on strategy development. This could be a great opportunity for good work-life balance within a commercial/business orientated role.
